The Poetry Brothel is an immersive, otherworldly encounter with the living body of poetry. We rescue verse from dusty classrooms and sterile exam papers, returning it to its native habitat: the ritual, the ceremony, the invocation that binds a community together. Here poetry breathes again, intimate, unruly, and electric.
A rotating house of poets inhabit carefully crafted personas while Guests are invited to wander, to listen, to choose the voice that calls to them. For a modest fee, you may step aside for a private audience: a one-to-one recital where the poem exists only in the space between two people, spoken for your ears alone. In that fleeting exchange, words become a secret shared and carried back into the night.
